California University of Pennsylvania Greek Alumni

In 2009, a group of Facebooker’s came together to form the Cal Pa Greek Alumni Organization. The concept started with the idea of putting together a reunion and then it ultimately spiraled into something bigger, interest grew and we found that there was a need for such an organization, as the CPGAA.

The Cal Pa Greek Alumni Association will soon become a 501 (c)3 not for profit alumni organization independently financed through the support of dues-paying members, individual contributions and corporate sponsorship. Programs, functions and services provided by this organization are open to all alumnus and participating members. Funding for CPGAA programs, special events and administration expense incurred, costs are soley funded and expedited through individual contributions and corporate sponsorship.

Although college days are long behind for Alumni, our connection at CU is still very important today.  In rebuilding for the future at CU, the core purpose of the Cal Pa Greek Alumni Association is to provide opportunities for support, mentorship and growth, to encourage past Greeks to restore and unite, as well as, to strengthen interest in CU.

Also, to promote greek life by fostering a scholarship program, coordinating philanthropic activities, career development and networking among Greek Alumni. The CPGAA mission will be in support of positive interaction among collegiate fraternal chapters to recognize involvement, commitment, and to provide support in the alumni and collegiate chapter community.

The CPGAA seeks to perpetuate a lasting bond with CU by assisting the institution in matters of mutual interest that support alumni programming in the areas of leadership, friendship, personal growth and development among the Greek system.

The ongoing mission of the CPGAA is to provide opportunities for philanthropic service, personal enrichment in brother and sisterhood fraternal organizations and to aid in professional development in an atmosphere of Greek inspired partnership.

The CPGAA intends to assist CU and the CU Greek Alumni Association in achieving their goals, serving as advocates for the Greek system, and provide career networking and mentoring opportunities for all Greeks. Together we can encourage academic and intellectual growth among undergraduates, and create a supportive environment between all Greeks, the CU Greek Alumni Association and CU.
